| My name is Dee Nichols and I have been in love with Tollers for over 14 years. My husband, Kerry and I recently bought several acres in Grady, Alabama and have built our retirement home and kennel there. Previously we had lived in Fort Myers in SW Florida. A training building will be built for working with my dogs. I have joined Montgomery Kennel Club and Montgomery Dog Obedience Club.
I have been training and breeding dogs for the last 25 years. I started with Dachshunds, and then decided upon a bigger dog and went with Rottweilers, I had them for many years and one day was asked to show a friends Toller – Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. I showed him that time and a few times after that and fell in love with the breed. I slowly lost each of my Rottweilers to old age and replaced them with a Toller. I still have a place in my heart for Rottweilers but I do LOVE my Tollers!! I got involved with the National Toller Club and it wasn’t long before I was elected as the Regional Director for Region Six or nine states in the South and Puerto Rico. I did this job for 6 ½ years until I had reached the maximum terms, during the last term I also was in charge of rescue and the merchandising for a short time until new people could be found. As of September 2006 I have taken the position of Rescue Coordinator for the National Toller Club. KD's Tollers have done remarkably well in all venues, with wins at Westminster, Hunt tests, Agility and Obedience. KD puppies are available by reservation only. Please stop by the Puppy Reservation and Information page if you are interested in a KD puppy. We also occasionally have older puppies and young adults available. |
